Representing Hawaii at 2011 World Latin Dance Cup
Phillip and Kimberly represented Hawaii with a new competition routine at the World Latin Dance Cup December 2011. They placed 13th in the world in the Professional On 2 division with a score of 80.5. Also representing Hawaii were Judah Oschner and Ria Baldevia in the Professional On 1 division.
Phillip & Kimberly Win Hawaii Salsa Championship
Phillip and Kimberly won the title of 2011 Hawaii Salsa Champions after three nights of competition at the Summer Salsa in Paradise, sponsored by Albert Torres Events and Alma Latina Productions.
The couple qualified for the World Latin Dance Cup in the Professional Salsa On 2 Division, to be held in Las Vegas December 14-17, 2011.

After a year as dance partners, Phillip Duong and Kimberly Tordjman founded Epica Latin Dance Company with the motto, "Be epic." As a performance couple, Phillip and Kimberly have quickly become one of Hawaii’s next big latin dance acts, winning the title of Hawaii Salsa Champions in July 2011 at the Summer Salsa in Paradise. Combining prior training in mambo, ballet, hip hop, modern dance and ballroom, the couple has blended their talents to put on fantastic latin dance pieces on stages throughout Oahu. Epica embodies their unique performance style with exciting group showcases and sizzling costumes for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
